Hello, I’m Dissanayake Mudhiyanselage Dewmini Hansangana Dissanayake, born on May 20, 2005. I am a passionate actress in the Sri Lankan film and teledrama industry, a professionally trained Bharatha and Kandyan dancer, and a dedicated freelance model. From a very young age, I felt a deep calling toward the performing arts—a passion that has grown into a full-fledged career in front of the camera and on stage.

I was born and raised in the heart of the Central Province, in my beloved hometown Matale, Sri Lanka—a place that has shaped my identity, values, and artistic spirit. My journey into acting began with a dream: to live many lives through the characters I portray. I’ve had the privilege of taking on main roles in both teledramas and films, where I strive to bring authenticity, depth, and emotional truth to every performance. For me, acting is more than entertainment—it’s a way to tell real stories, evoke emotion, and leave a lasting impact on audiences.

I come from a warm, supportive family. My father, DMRK Dissanayake, and my mother, UBS Aberathne, have always been pillars of encouragement. My brother, Kawishka G. Dissanayake, has been my constant motivator, helping guide my artistic vision and creative growth.

Education

I began my early education at Royal English School, Matale (Grades 1–5), before moving to Sirimavo Bandaranayaka School, Matale, where I completed my Ordinary Levels. Currently, I am pursuing my Advanced Level studies at Pushpadana Girls’ School, Kandy, where I continue to develop both academically and artistically.
